Team workspaces
A workspace connects your teammates' projects so findings flow between you. It shares data, not scope: one member can test www.example.com, another api.example.com, a third admin.example.com — each in their own project with their own scope — while everyone sees what the others find and can chain it.
What is shared
| Shared with the workspace | Never leaves your computer |
|---|---|
| Scanner results (findings and evidence) | HTTP History and WebSocket history |
| Attack surface entries and flows | Scan logs and baseline traffic |
| Reports | Notes, proxy rules, auth sessions |
| Your scope (shown read-only as “X is testing: …”) | Any private project |
The team passphrase
Everything shared is encrypted on each member's computer with a key derived from your team passphrase before it is uploaded. Our server only stores ciphertext — not even workspace names are readable. The first member to create a workspace chooses the passphrase (at least 10 characters) and gives it to the others; Hunt remembers it on each computer.
Nobody can recover a forgotten passphrase. If your team loses it, support can reset it, which deletes your team's shared data from the server — local projects are untouched.
Create a workspace
In Hunt's start window, open the Workspaces tab and click New Workspace:
- New empty project — creates a normal project linked to the workspace; members who join with a new project start with its scope.
- My project — share a project you already have. It's linked as it is (nothing is copied); Hunt shows exactly what will be shared and checks it fits the workspace's storage first.
Shortcut: select a project in Resume Project and click Share as Workspace…. A team has up to 3 workspaces of 200 MB each.
Join, leave, delete
- Join with a new project (starts with the creator's scope) or with one of your projects (keeps its own scope).
- Leave stops syncing; your project stays as a private project and your last shared data stays visible to the team. Join again later and the same project reconnects.
- Delete is for the member who created the workspace. It removes the shared data from the server; everyone keeps their local project.
The Team tab
Inside a workspace, the Team tab shows each teammate — sub-tabs for up to 6, a dropdown beyond that. For each one you see what they're testing and their Scanner Results, Attack Surface and Reports, read-only. Use Import Selected / Import All to copy attack surface entries and reports into your own project; importing again only adds what's new.
Syncing
Hunt syncs in the background every 2 minutes, and right away when you click Sync now. It only uploads when your data changed, and only downloads teammates whose data changed. Offline, the Team tab keeps showing the last synced data.
